Whats your fuel consumption? is mine a record?

I've a 100% standard & original Agility 50cc 2007. I was getting around 75/80mpg (UK), then I had a problem running & starting it. I carried out various checks, replaced the plug, cleaned the carb, jets, filters, fuel tank etc & set up the carb idle speed & fuel/air mixture.

Since this the scooter starts 1st time on the button, is quieter, smoother, is running great AND has just returned 90miles from £6 (UK) & theres still some left in the tank :-)

It looks like i'd get 100mpg so is this a record for a 50cc? What do you get from your scooter?

I ride a People S 125 and at my last fill up I travelled 159.9 kms and the scoot took 4.644 litres to fill. Based on those figures I seem to be getting 97.26 miles per Imperial gallon, or for my friends south of the border 80.99 miles per US gallon.

Overall average (including winter driving) 1.84 litre/100km = 128 mpg (us) = 153 mpg (uk).
(My actual 500cc Kymco guzzles a little bit more.)

Because I emptied & flushed my tank before putting the £6 in, i've decided to run it dry & to see exactly what i'll get. Theres plenty of fuel stations localy so it won't cause a problem & i've just been to town & back & now upto 98mpg :-). Surely though I can't get much more?
My car, before being laid up was averaging 28mpg so its a no brainer that the scoot wins hands down, especially when knocking about locally.

Averaging 76.8mpg here on my Kymco Yager GT 200i. Best was 85.2mpg. Worst was 68.7. I'll take the 76.8mpg average since most of my commuting is above 50mpg - roundtrip of 70-80 miles daily.
My car wasn't much better either. I feel like I'm robbing a bank during the week with the savings.
