Another way to protect your ride...GPS Tracking.
« on: May 19, 2012, 10:20:48 PM »
http://riderseyegps.com/

I know guys using these on their motorcycles and ATV's

as with other tracking measures, have to be careful of things like 'no monthly fee's', which is usually BS.  Have read good and bad, I think putting in an on/off switch, and making sure you modify your online account issue so you're not using monthly 'exchanges', have to read more about this one.

Anyone have others that they have tried?  Of course LoJack has been around a long time here in the states, sure there are others

although my preference is long range protection lol :

I didn't see the price anywhere on their site. If it wasn't too expensive I might try it.
For now I will just stick to my disk lock alarm.

yea i like that lock better than mine, as mine doesn't have the alarm on it, might have to get one of those

you can buy the GPS tracker for $265, cheapest i've seen it, they say there is no monthly charges, but thats not true, you get 1000 exchanges, which is exchanges between the system, your account, emails, etc. and apparently they roll up pretty fast, for BS stuff, so you could end up getting charges, 1000 exchanges is something like $120, and according to one review I read that lasts only a few months, thats why i asked of other things

also, gps is easily disabled by putting in a metal garage....there are a bunch of other ones out there, just trying to find one that is affordable....

I got my Xena alarm on Amazon.com for $60.25. I did a search for the Xena XZZ6 and see another vendor offering it for $59.66 now.
