If it the same as dink 300, aka  300i downtown , remove seat tub, and you will see the lights at the back, twist & remove, very tight space,.  I had to remove Batt., so I could get my fat fingers in there,

After studying the Dink manual the chassis on the Dink and Downtown appear to be very similar.  As De-Dee said on the Downtown models the easiest way is getting to the tail bulb from the back side from under the seat.  On the Dink 125 it looks like the four screws are what does it but since that is not working for you I would try the steps below to get to the bulb from behind.

On our models we have to remove the entire storage box under the seat but on the Dink you have a battery cover panel at the rear of the storage box to access the battery.

oren2012>> how should I do it?

Here is what I would try.  Although it looks complicated it should take less than 15 minutes:

Battery removal (Steps 1-6 below are from pages 78-79 in Dink 125 manual):
1) Open seat.
2) Remove 2 screws and remove the battery cover.
3) Remove 4 screws from battery retainer.
4) Pull out battery to expose terminal leads.
5) Disconnect battery terminal leads.  Negative (-) first, then the positive (+)
6) Remove battery from it's box/holder.

Numbers 7-8 are just an idea to try - I don't have the repair manual for a Dink:

7) If the battery box on the Dink is the same as a Downtown there should
be three bolts that hold the box installed.  Remove the three (10mm?) bolts and
see if the battery box will come out thru the opening in the storage compartment.

8 ) If you were able to remove the battery box you should now be able to see the
back of the tail light and reach the connector to remove the bulb.

If the battery box can not be removed (in step 7 above) then you will  need to
remove the seat and storage box which only takes a few minutes.  When removing
the storage box you will have one electrical plug to disconnect for the storage area light.

After you change the tail light bulb just put everything back together in reverse order
except when connecting the battery terminal leads you now connect the Positive (+) first
and then the Negative (-).

Good luck,

Brent
