+1 on vivo and streido. Too many variables to constantly monitor, nuclear power can only end in nuclear waste, which is forever. The biggest issue is that theres no where to go with all this waste that these plants have, let alone for whats already used. I believe in the next few years there will be a lot of changes, whether it be for the good or bad, but this can not sustain itself.
Im thinking of converting one of my Scoots to nuclear waste, it can run forever, or at least until my skin shears itself off from the incredible speeds and high doses of radiation!

The thought is that the radiation and all its wonders will spread across the pacific ocean, and wipe out everything in its path. With winds blowing mostly west to east would you stay in the state of Hi. or mainland US if this happens?

Exactly that happened during Chernobyl incident and there was no "wiping out". Radiation stays almost forever, but it will dissolve and dissipate. In fact, decay and dilute. :)
Even in the area one or two kilometers away from the reactor, there are areas with very low radiation, while 50 or 70 kms away in another direction everything is contaminated.
Radiation spreads in strange patterns, not in concentric circles, as most of us would initially imagine.

I remember the same story like ts1. The same distance from Chernobyl, only slightly more to the south.

I don't think any of us knows exactly what will/could happen as we are not experts when it comes to nuclear waste and fallout. I have read that Fukashima has the potential to be upto 85 times worse then Chernoble due to the type of plutonium used in the reactor.

I don't really know, but don't want to be around to find out I was right or wrong.

The entire globe is covered with cancerous sores that we put on it. Many will never heal. The real issue is what are we going to do to stop it.
Yep! Time for an ice cold beer. Made fresh daily in the Rockie Mountains. From the spring that is too well guarded for anyone to use. Under 10,000tons of building on a State Forest tract. Where the Spotted Owl used to live. Ice Cold Beer is GREAT!

Drink beer and talk about it, enjoy whats left in life, wait til our "expiration" and hope that our next life would be better...

I've been patiently doing that for 35,000 years. A new plan is in order.

Bomb Fukashima, bury the dead and start over.

Yes, the real issue is how to stop it. Bro, no one person can stop this. Like you said, it's cancer! One person can start something but will just die down...just like any thread... at the end of the day, it would still be the same, or worse even...
