This is pretty much a calling card film, or demo-reel done by an FX studio hoping to get work for bigger projects. They could also be looking for
investors if they do want to take it to longer project format. I'm currently taking a 3-D computer Maya class so this was great to look at. I'm considering designing an Aero-scooter -- wheelless scooter for my final project though I might hand animate any rider.
