Makes me laugh when people have such a hard time with FOX news.
Name ten news outlets. Print or video.Chances are 9 of them have a liberal bias. Just the way it has always been.
Complaining because one takes a view you don't agree with is very small minded.
Oreilly and hannity and the other opinionated hosts are not news, they are entertainment shows.
When they come on I switch to CNN or PBS to get their take on the news. Gives me more info to decide for myself. Well rounded is better than narrow minded.

I also watch BBC and Al Jazer (spelling) to see their twist on things.

(A remember that Fox reported that Obama won the election 3 1/2 years ago, I guess that didn't happen or was a non story too.)

I personally don't like Stewart but do glance at his show to see what is "new". Same for the McLaughlin Group on PBS. It's much easier picking out the real facts than having them crammed down your throat. We are told our opinions here.

We all have a bias, I get that. We put our own slant on things, that's human nature. When a media outlet does it they are trying to use their power to sway the people and not simply report the news as it happened.

If most murders were commited by Asians I'd expect the media to broadcast that info, not that I would lump all Asians into one basket but to stay away from areas of town with known violance and to better understand why they commit the most crime.

When media does not report the facts they are doing a dis service to their listeners/readers/viewers.

I have worked in government before (Presidential Staff Officer). I was able to compare what is really happening versus what is in the news.  When I left government, I stopped watching/reading the news. nuf said...
