Using 85w-140w vs SAE 90

Hi I have a jug of SAE 80w-140w gear oil lying around and want to know if anyone knows if thats alright to use in my final drive in place of the SAE90?

2009 Kawasaki Brute Force 750i
2023 Kymco AK550

I have used 80/140 valvaline full syn. in my scooter and found it works,  just has a wider range of temperature it can be used in,.
