Help with Pic footprint size!!!
« on: September 10, 2012, 01:00:53 PM »
Hi All: I'm trying to post some pics of my new Kymco GT300i scooter. The smallest I can do thru MS "Live Photo Gallery" is 640x480 & that equals 254KB. I think this forum needs like 172KB or less!

Any insight to help me out?

You can also install paint.net on you comp. Free program that does most of the things Photoshop can. Resize and compress pics.

when i tried compressing and resizing pics it wasnt taking the size down enough and after compressing and resizing there wasnt much of a picture left to look at lol....photobucket is less hassle anyway.

You can also go to tinypic (owned by photobucket) and add pic without an account.

You should be able to make good pics small with paint.net. I took this 8mb image down to 150kb and it is still clear.

Whew...That was quick. You guys rock! I did find a way thru MS "Windows Live Photo Gallery" & posted them in the GT300i sub-forum. I'll open-up a Photobucket account or try tinypic.

Thanks again all!
