well i hope to ride all year. not looking forward to riding in snow. newer done that on a scoot. but then in the uk only have 1 week a year of snow anyway. the only prob with our snow is that one day its clear the next day 1 foot of snow. but on the roads. so dont think she will have the power to cut through and plow the snow. ;D

I'll be riding all year unless it snows or is really bad out on the roads, only really bad tho, cold and rain is fine.

Been riding the Vespa all last wk so not been on the A50 at all. Once the icy weather comes in im back on the Agility cos the salt on the roads wont be good for the steel-bodied Vespa. Takes me 25mins to get to work on the scooters but 1 and a half hrs by public transport so i have no choice since the wife uses the car.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

I'm riding all year, although longer trips get significantly harder below zero degrees Celsius...

Every winter (over here in the NL) only has a couple of days so cold and sh**ty that I go to work on a bicycle, or even take a day off...

The most important is to get the right clothing : an insulated motorcycle jacket, motorcycle gloves, and one or two of those windproof biker scarves... This dedicated stuff is really different from just putting on extra layers of everyday clothing, my first motorcycle jacket was a true eye opener. It not only keeps you warm really well, but it will also give some freedom of movement that a stack of regular clothes won't...

And take your time when there could be patches of ice everywhere.. Don't just go fast because everybody else does at a certain road. Most people are just ignorant and lucky, and the ones that aren't lucky will show up in the newspaper next day...
