Is this typical of your experience with your local scooter dealer and Kymco or is this dealer profit padding or a negotiating ploy?
Thanks for your help in advance.

$2,600 OTD still in plastic 2012 Yager 200i (Liquidation Sale).
I was searching Craigslist, EBay, CycleTrader.com and any other place every day for a scooter. As I scoured the Internet I ran across a link to a good dealer in my area that was liquidating his Kymco inventory. So I called and asked about the new Yager 200i they had and I asked the salesman for the Out The Door price. He came back and said his manager would take $2,600 OTD.
On my way to the dealership I kept rehearsing what I would do if they tacked on the $199 document fee and then tried to add the sales tax. I was going to complain and walk away.
So I get there, the scooter is a brand new blue 2012 on the showroom floor. The battery is still in the box and it has no mileage. So I'm thinking, maybe this is A good deal.
Then the paper work comes. I get a peek of the amount due as the salesman is placing the order on the desk. To my relief, it says $2,600. I'm thinking, this might be the best "dealership" experience I've ever had.
Pleasant day, pleasant dealer, great price and perfect scooter for my needs. Maybe this makes up for all the bad dealership experiences.
I could not live without:
Fuel Injection
Water Cooling
55-60 MPH speed (at least)
The best gas mileage I could get.
I looked at the Honda SH150i and the Kymco 200i
