Oh no! Someone tipped over my scooter!

For no apparent reason other than mischief, someone pushed my scooter over.  $591.46 in damages!  It is still ride-able and all the damage is cosmetic only, but still.  Good thing my deductible is only $50 and I carry full coverage.

I feel your pain!  My kid dropped both of my Likes.  Just scratched them up.  Just putting some stickers over them.

Wow Sonic where do live where you can get insurance with a $50 deductible and what company is that? Is your good rate anything to do with your years riding etc.? Bad luck on the mischief thing. People are so stupid sometimes.

I have Geico and I pay $142 a year for full coverage with $50 deductibles. I am 49 years old, though.   And I live in small town Alabama.

I'm calling them tomorrow. I pay $43 a month with statefarm. I knew when I bought the policy I was overpaying but I wanted the scooter insured right away as I was taking delivery of it the next day and statefarm does my auto and renters insurance. Plus I have a $250 deductible. I've been told recently that statefarm is not motorcycle friendly and there's the proof.

 I live in Indy.I have a Like 200 which I purchased July 2011. It has run flawlessly and only thing to come loose was the weatherstrip on topcase. I love the scoot, I have 4500 trouble-free miles so  far. Like you I had a hater push it over. My damage was confined to a broken mirror,(ordered replacement from dealer) and bent brake lever.(ditto).I was commuting to work when I purchased it, but retired in August. I enjoyed explaining to My Harley riding friends how I rode on 32 deg. mornings,(Proper gear). I Enjoy this forum and thought I'd put in my 2cents worth since activity has slowed.

I too have State Farm. My cost is around $487/yr with a $250 deductible. I too will be calling Geico. No sense throwing my money away.

Just an FYI. If you have an existing auto insurance you would be covered for 30 days. So if you did need to make a claim you would need to pay the premium plus the deductible but at least you would be covered as opposed to uninsured.
