Parts Lists
« on: January 07, 2013, 06:43:53 PM »
With the tax return season coming up I'd like to purchase some parts. Price cap is 300. would like some performance as far as speed and acceleration. Whats my best bet?

Well you can't go wrong with DR Pulley sliders. They're only $35 and make a big difference.

The general idea is to get them 1 gm less in weight from the stock rollers...

 Well I don't have that model so can't make specific recommendations. It is a 4 stroke so
beyond the sliders you would need to get a BBK and carb and exhaust to see a lot of gain...

 To lower it you could cut the springs in front and add something like this in the back;

Is it fully derestricted?

Some of the newer models need a different boss to derestrict them too. How fast does it go now?

im looking for an adjustable coilover for the back and the front forks i could just adjust from the crown that holds shock itself. but was gonna do the cut cdi and the variator boss and possibly the carb jet and air filter setup. also doing drop handle bars, and relocating the marker lights and speedo

Stiffer torque spring, lighter rollers or sliders, race variator such as Malossi Multivar and correct jetting are the most cost effective way to tune it up. A well tubed cvt will give you a good base to work from.

I run 1500rpm torque with 5.5g rollers usually, with a shortened boss.

Why did you NOT initially select a scooter that was actually suitable for your performance expectations?
