That's why we put the bikes to sleep in the winter up here in the great white north.
It's not going to get above freezing for the next 3 days. The scoot is in the cellar
though and I can crank up the heat and putter around on it. I got some sliders to
put in but want to add one of those bearings for the torque springs as I smoothed
out the opening of the back pulley and now it needs a touch more tension.

Ya its a good time to work on the scoot clean it up and bring the batterys in for the winter. And train the carb. I hope dry gas is good enough to hold the gas over thats in the tank because I have a full tank of gas.

What are you "Training" your carb to do? HeHe

I'm not sure you want to add dry gas to the fuel as that's alcohol the same as ethanol.
Startron or stabil would be better, but with a full tank it should be OK. Draining the
carb is a good idea too to keep the jets from getting clogged.

Maybe a bad connector somewhere blue? My scoot sits out all year since 2008 and its fine, even below 20°. Does take an extra sec or 2 to fire up if i havent used it for 3-4 days but otherwise it start exactly as it does in summer for me.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

its kinda normal for my scoot when its cold out.I always have to worm the shed up for about a hour befor the scoot well turn over good . I think its the way I have it jeted or because of the open air filter.
I should put the stock air box back on maybe that well be better.
