Are those lights on the fairing? Salesman no help
« on: April 08, 2013, 10:22:31 PM »
Hello, Are those lights on the fairing? Amber & white. Daytime running lights, extra turn signals, what?
Sorry, but my salesman knows Harleys, not scooters (though he says they have 40 in the back room to sell)
I think I need the power of the Like 200i - and really want to stay with FI engines, Can't afford a Genuine or Vespa - and the old scoot style Vinos and Metros are too small. So it's likely to be this Kymco.
Thank you..........

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

The lights on the front fairing(leg sheild) are the original turn signals. They are running lights on US scooters since they are not wide enough apart to meet DOT standards. That is the reason for the add-on turn signals on the handle bar. I have to say that the FI is one of the things that led me to buy the 200i and the dual disc brakes.

Euro and Asian versions have those as turn signal lights, U.S. version has the lollipops.

some people converted the lights to running lights ,. I did,.   or rewired them to turn signals,.
