A125 won't start using starter button
« on: February 08, 2009, 12:16:15 PM »
Suddenly, Agility 125 will not start when using starter button (starts normally using kick lever).

For a few days it is completely dead and then, for a few days it starts normally. So, it is not a dead starter.

I would not say it is a question of micro switches actuated by brake levers, because when it works, it works normally using either brake (front or rear).

I would say it is most probably the main starter switch (button) itself. The scooter is still under warranty (10.000 kms or 2 years here - it is 1 year old and has 7500 kms on it), so I will ask the mechanic to check it out, the only problem is that the issue manifests itself intermittently, so as usually, it could be problematic to reproduce when I visit him...  >:(

Did anybody notice such issue with A 125? Thanks.

The faulty starter switch is very very common in the agility 125. I had mine replaced within 2 months, they told me it would likely break when they sold it to me.  ::)

And you are right. That was the case and it was replaced under warranty, two months ago.

A125 now has 10.000 kms on it in 18 months and warranty is void - in Croatia it is two years or 9.000 kms.

I forgot to report about this...
