To windshield or not to windshield, that is the question

So when I bought my Like, it came with a windshield already installed.  This is also the first time I have ever ridden so I have never experienced riding without a windshield.  So, yesterday it was pretty warm so I decided to remove my windshield to see if it was any cooler (I ride with a full face helmet, riding gloves, riding pants, and a motorcycle jacket).  Here is what I discovered;


I never realized how much a windshield helps to make the ride a LOT more comfortable.  While riding without the windshield I noticed that I have to lean forward in order to be more comfortable, but when doing so I can't see out of the rear view mirrors.  With the windshield in place I can lean back slightly and ride in comfort for long distances.  I also noticed without the windshield that when I turn my head, the wind catches on my helmet and buffets it pretty badly.   Top speed was also effected in a negative way when not in an aero tuck. 


So, I will be buying a new jacket that is not as warm as the current one I've got, and this windshield I have will be going back on to stay!!!

For me, zipping through city streets, I prefer no windshield... but for highway cruising, I would prefer one...

Had a few bikes, some with shields, some without, tried aftermarket on all, that's a LOT OF WINDSHIELDS in my
life. For me, there's only 2 ways to go. HUGE or none.

The in-between rarely works.. and it depends a lot on the rider (height).

I'm 5'6" and can barely see over the top of the windshield on my Like, and it is adjusted as low as it can go.  So I guess that would make it a huge one.
