Should we mess w/Dr Pulleys while under warranty?
« on: June 12, 2013, 10:14:46 PM »
Shoot, I've got a set of Dr Pulleys coming tomorrow - everyone says they will make my scoot a much better ride....then I saw an old post re. the issue of our warranty.
I've got 22 mos left on my warranty - don't want to mess that up. Do I really have to wait 22 mos to install the new set of sliders?
Bummer.........
And looks like tomorrow I'll be riding in a major storm to work in the dark (13 min ride)--- sure hope these things will keep running in a downpour!
I can park it inside, just need it to run while I'm on the street. Big test for new, 200 miles on 'em, Michelin City Grips. (AND for my visor wax !!)

Used my LED red blinker hooked on the top case the other morning....for a rain ride in the dark to work. Got it on amazon after seeing a HONDA Metropolitan guy using one....he goes everywhere on the little thing. Camping, snow, etc. etc. Amazing scooter guy. See him on youtube. Darn near sold me on a Metropolitan, even at my size!!

It really depends on your dealer's practices...
