I have read this forum for a while for tips on my super 9 but this is my first post!
Anyway, I de-winterized my super 9 early this week, put fresh gas and 2 cycle oil in. I hit the starter and it took a bit but she fired up and idled fine. I took it out for a short ride up and down my drive way and when I stopped it stalled. Tried to start it again and wouldnt start. Twisted the throttle and it cam back to life and revved up just fine, but now it wont idle and will only stay running with the help of the throttle.
I took the fuel line off the carb, sprayed some carb cleaner and hit the starter and the fuel flowed so I moved on. I started following the service manual and took off the electric choke and the throttle body, cleaned them, re-installed and still had the same issues.
Anyone else seen this happen? Do I just need a good carb. cleaning? I am not that good at this type of thing so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
