Hey so about 6 months ago I got a used people 50 people 2007 scooter and have recently become interested in makin it go faster as of right now I'm topping out at about thirty. I read on a few different posts here that there are around four things can do. So the first thing I want to do is de restrict it,but I ran into a problem. From what I read I just needed to fi d the cdi box and unplug/cut the green wire when I ppulled off the front handkebar cover I found the cdi box an the green wire had already been cut and re connected. So I disconnected the green wire and the scooter wouldn't start I tried kick starting it to it would make a sound but wouldn't catch, when I reattched it it turned on fine, any idea where else I could look or if the restricter is located somewhere else? I haveheard of changing my rollerweihts and variaotor boss and exausht but at the moment can't afford the parts,anyideas?
Also my spedomiterdoesnt work is there a quick fix or should I get a new one?
