Shock search continues w/Philippines help
« on: July 17, 2013, 12:09:37 AM »
I am told by my new LIKE scooter  buddies in the Philippines that the rear shocks from a Grand Dink 250 might be a good addition to my LIKE 200i as I search for beeffier rear shocks.
Now trying to find the length of these GD 250 shocks, and width . The clevis end is 10mm on the Dink, 8mm on the LIKE, but I can work around that issue.
My on-line Kymco parts adviser suggested looking into motorcycle shocks - and I'm doing that as well.

Any other  suggestions out there ....?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

What about Progressive? http://www.progressivesuspension.com/
I noticed that there is an "Online Chat" button on their site, so maybe they can help find something that will fit.
The 12-13-14 Series looks promising. http://www.progressivesuspension.com/metric/12_13_14/index.html
