I thought it was pretty darn good. Only suggestion would be to shorten it. Or, simply, speed up the clip. How do you like the GoPro? I have a Polaroid XS100HD, and it's a damn good camera. I avoided this gen GoPro's because of some shady reviews. Especially when I read that GoPro filters out most of their negative reviews so their ratings remain high on their website.
I do not have a GoPro. I never even considered them because they are so bulky and the battery life is horrible. I have a Midland XTC 200 HD Action Cam that cost less than $100 USD and will record just over 3 hours on a 16GB microSD card. The only drawback to it is that it does not have an external mic jack (it does have a built in mic). Supposedly, Midland will be releasing a new camera later this year that has that feature.
As for length, it is only to introduce my channel on YouTube, not be an intro before every video. The intro I use for all my videos is only about 5 seconds long.
Data wall... never heard that before. I just play around with various software packages to figure out how to do things. I use VideoPad and Sony Vegas Pro 12 for video editing, and PhotoShop for picture editing. Lots of people use the Microsoft video editor (it is free) but it lacks many features. I'm still learning and consider myself a noob but I am making progress. I think.
