Changing the final gears 2013 agility 125

Getting ready to purchase a 2013 125 AG - i am researching mod for the scoot - we (the guys i ride with) do alot of long rides (150+ miles) - wondering whats out there for finfal gears - and has anyone with a AG done final gears - what was the outcome - thanks

All you need to do is get a set of Dr Pulley sliders 1 gram less then stock or the same weight if you ride outside of
town really often. You're likely to loose 2-3mph from the top speed, but you'd be able to use the bike at it's top
speed at low revs.

I'm also interested... did some research but std GY6 final gears don't work or fit properly.

Any kind of gearing mod (taller gearing) is likely to result in a slower scooter on such a low
power bike. It happened on my 30hp scoot so it's gonna happen on a 10hp scooter too.

With the ability to do such easy mods in the CVT (like the dr pulley sliders, usually 10% lighter then
stock or going with regular rollers, only heavier then stock) any other kind of mods seem foolish.

I've never heard of anyone touching the gears at the transmission.
There's really no need to, or any replacement parts available (easy to find).

What's 2-3mph less if you drop the revs by 500-1000 at those speeds?

I agree with your ideas, but In my case the scooter it's an experiment platform (just to have some fun during weekends) and was thinking about increasing the bore and with those extra cc get a higher top speed.

Messing around with gears at the back isn't.

Everyone told me that the agility was diff from a gy6, but I just had my crank replaced and all the seals , gaskets, rings, and oil pump. The guy that done it says the engine is identical. I am having a vibration that comes and goes but my Tranny , (final Drive) isn't making any noise. I have notice my belt is looking a little ruff. its almost a fluttering vibration. I hope my tranny doesn't have a bad bearing, but you would think itd make noise. What do you guys think?

We think that you're overthinking things and should ride more and tinker with it less.
And yeah, all Agilitys (50,125,150) are GY6 engines.

Ok I appreciate your replys, but I bought this scooter brand new off the showroom floor and it has 17,000 k. I just don't see that I am overthinking. The virbration is there and it comes and goes , getting worse and better with diff rpms. When I am running50 or 55 and let off the fluttering happens then too. I was told at first that these engines where called KDU engine. Didn't understand that cause it has parts on it and a label that says gy6. Didn't know they made a 150. I live in the USA though.

The Agility 125 has a KDU engine. It is identical to the GY6 outside but has some parts inside (I don't know what exactly) that is different from your standard GY6.
