Keep in mind that the markings on the tires, themselves, are maximum inflation values. The tires can be used with a variety of vehicles, and the weights of the vehicles and their applications differ.
I keep mine inflated to the approximate values listed in the Kymco literature. Overinflation = very rough ride, feeling every defect in the road. Underinflation = poor-to-dangerous handling, and poor tire longevity.
