Kymco stock muffler surgery, anyone done it?
« on: August 17, 2013, 06:28:29 PM »

This is not the stock kymco muffler but its design is similar.

Steel fabrication
Welded at both ends
Small header and exit pipes.

Question- has anyone cut one open?
Where did they cut ?
Did they re-use ?
Etc etc
Any fore-knowledge would be useful .

I asked the same question when I had an Agility 50 and was encouraged to get an aftermarket pipe. At about $350 I left well enough alone.
