Engine vin?
« on: November 27, 2013, 01:07:36 AM »
Hi all, i have recently purchased a 2006 kymco agility 125 and to put my mind at rest i want to find the engine numbers did a HPI check on the reg plate come back clean as there was no logbook with it i was curious got a receipt etc. But i am struggling to find the engine vin number have looked pretty much all around (with engine in frame) and all i have found is KDU-E000 near main stand bolt which i found is supposedly a air cooled Honda engine? where can i find the actual vin as im struggling frame number seems fine starts with LC2 i think.. Also where would i be best to find the kick start assembly in UK reasonably priced? I was told it was just missing the shaft but all there is to it i can see is return spring and kick lever? Where does the shaft sit in drive belt casing is it a straight forward job to change. Any input appreciated  :o

Thanks located the number was covered in crap, im lost on my starter motor issue there seems to be a bracket missing on it as doesnt bolt to anything just straight into hole in engine for it its turning over    but not catching the pinion/cog on inside of engine also the cog isnt catching on anything inside when spun i was under the impression that turned the back wheel? i dont know the exact name of it not got a manual for the exact bike just Chinese motorcycles and its not listed my first kymco and already baffled ???
