Wider Forks?
« on: February 21, 2014, 04:58:33 PM »
Has anyone considered/researched wider stem/forks to enable a wheel for beefier tire size? Where can I get the dimensions of a stem so that I can confirm it will fit but give me a wider gap between  forks?

Not many people moding scooters for a wider fork...

I'd look up the headset bearings on All Balls or some such site an then
see which other bikes they fit. You might get lucky. I know with bikes
the top and bottom bearings are usually different. I'm not sure how the
bearing company gets the info to make the bearings...
