The DT is listed at the top of the column for 200-300cc scoots. The DT200i is not specifically covered because (here is my guess) the series is practically identical except for engine size. Personally I would not consider a DT200i since I have a 300 and would not trade for a sea-going container full of anything else. That is just me and I was quite happy with the Yager 200i until my wife talked me into a new scoot which was the DT300i, my choice. The owner's manual covers all the DT s, 300i, 200i & 300iABS. So, I would say, whatever you see in the forum in the Downtown column will pertain to your scoot. The DT200i should be a great scoot IF Kymco made the engine with a displacement of, say, 198cc instead of like the Like which is 163cc and the Yager which was 174cc. I never did understand that.

PS: I will bet the DT200i has all the stuff as the 300 including the ECU although it may be "mapped" differently for the slightly smaller engine.

don't know the exact cc but right at 196 or 198 without getting my book out. acceleration is really fine for me and top end about 70 mpg depending on wind conditions which is also enough for me. most of my ride is on farm/market roads just tooling around looking at the scenery. just wish i had someone to ride with. haven't been able to find any riders around where i live.

It sounds to me that you have "found" your scoot and it satisfies your needs, wants and desires and that is what is important. I think you will be very happy for a long time like I will. Where do you live? Scoots are still in the minority in most of the nation and fellow scooterists are hard to find. Check www.scootnashville.com to see what that local crowd is doing. JPrestonian is there and here as well. Denver has a large, active group and several shops to support them. One shop has three or four locations with great stuff including Vespa parts and the new line of modern Vespas if anyone can afford them. Just a coupla examples.
