Hot Dog Clear Roads!!
« on: January 10, 2014, 01:23:49 AM »
Dug the scoot out of the garage and fired her up after a couple of minus 0 days and 10 days of sitting (with full tank of BP 93 and Stabil and "jr" battery tender)
Fired right up.....
Had to push it out to the street as ice on the driveway....then off for an hour in a light snow, high 20's and fading light.
Turned on my rear bike light and the high beams (after last week's homicidal F-150 attempt on me) and all my armored gear, etc.
Great to be scootering again!

Side roads are a little too sporty for me....

48+ hours of below 0 froze the lake.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Good for you!
Your pics are always nice to see. What's with the F150's and thinking they own the road. A few years back I got hit from behind by one and I was doing 75mph in my car! Kid was on his phone.
Keep safe and warm.

It was 18 on Monday morning when I rode to work.  This morning it was 60 degrees and raining so I didn't ride to work.  This fluctuation in temperature is normal for Texas.  It is supposed to be in the 70's this next week so it looks like I'll be riding to work every day!!
