I usually use Chevron Regular gas and I get 70 MPG to work and back... mostly full throttle using side roads between two cities.  I ran a couple extra blocks running errands and ran it out of gas in front of a Valero gas station, Chevron was a couple blocks further up.  Same price because I was using a credit card.  I usually use 1.3 gallons on Chevron in 3 days of riding but this time I filled it with 1.405 gallons of Valero Regular.  On Valero, I had to fill after 2 days, and it took 1 gallon (I couldn't have gone a 3rd day).  Valero was definitely causing my scooter to use more gas... wasn't getting more speed, no extra power, and I didn't drive any extra blocks in those two days.  I have so far only achieved 70 MPG on Chevron, which get 15% better gas milage than Valero.  Anyone else notice a difference in brands? I'm in California so it might be blended differently in other states.

Even same brands from yield different results. I've tried it here. One brand (Shell), 2 different stations, three different cars. Result? The three cars have consistent better mpg in one station than the other.

Another doubt is the pump calibration.  What's indicated on the pump screen may not be the actual quantity.

Shell V-Power here is 97

Shell Super Unleaded (E10)  is 93

Shell Super Premium (non-Eth) is 93

My car seems to get the same milage with Shell and Chevron... I have noticed drops when using Safeway, Valero and sometimes Costco (I once got 10 mpg with Costco gas when I usually average 24mpg)

My S8 takes me to work (thats where %80 of its miles come from) I go one blk and turn onto a Hy. I'm wide open for 6 miles turn onto another Hy and go wide open for 4 miles. Park it, do the same on the way home. 59 to 67 miles per gallon avg. My complaint is the meek gas tank that goes empty every other day. (3rd day fuelling) thats mine
