Parts Recommendations (places to buy from, etc.)
« on: November 28, 2013, 11:49:36 PM »
Good evening, and Happy Thanksgiving to all...

I'm trying to locate parts for my Agility 125 (Model Year 2009) I recently purchased secondhand. I'd like to know where I can purchase the following parts:

Front Brake pads
Smooth drive boss and CVT belts
CDI (I need to know if it's an AC or DC system)
Rear tailights (left one's broken)
Slider weights for the CVT (only going 1 gram heavier than stock)
Exhaust systems (don't need one now, just want it to keep as a spare).
Better rearview mirrors (stock ones are ok, but I need better).
Rear Clutch pulleys

For the record, I am not trying to do any performance mods as it runs like gold as is. I only seek to have extra parts on hand and apply necessary fixes. Also, this is my very first Kymco bike. Prior to this, I owned 3 different 50cc "ChiCom" bikes which were nerve rackers to maintain.

Any help is appreciated. Oh, and here's a pic of Metreaus (Met-truss)...

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

First things first, bro. You need to go to the grocery store, steal a milk crate, and zip-tie it on the back.

Update (12-02/2013):

I was able to locate a store that stocked Kymco parts and got the left turn signal. I couldn't get the front brake pads because the store didn't have them in stock, so I ordered off of Ebay instead. I was able to adjust the mirrors so I can see everything behind me perfectly (just took a few adjustments), so I'm good on those.

After riding the scooter across town for a few hours, Metreaus did the damn job perfectly. Even with my 300lbs butt, it still carried me through traffic fine. Charged up the hills at around (speedo-indicated) 40mph, straights at 55mph, and downhills at damn near 70mph. It felt good to weave past cagers all around Richmond today.

I will still order the other stuff (like the sliders, clutch, etc.) to have spare replacement parts.

@Jim, already a step ahead of you. I have a milk crate (and bungie cords) I used on the ChiCom bikes I owned. I usually carry groceries (when riding in city limits) or a "red box" (emergency gas container for the long cross-state journeys) in it. I could care less for those Shad cases...

Hey good luck on those parts. I know it can be a pain if your local workshop is unable to attain them.
I waited for almost 6months waiting on the workshop just for a brake level/cord to deliver to them???
That's half of rego down the drain...lucky it's only around $250AUD to renew per year (but still!).

I'm in the process of finding a new seat. They are hard to come by.
