Very "VERY"rare Kymco

2010 Super8 150 cc / I own the only one ever made. Or at least those who do, don't want to talk about them. ?????

Your header is very "very" deceiving. The super 8 150 was heavily mass produced, most people bought the 49cc version of the super 8 on here. Price and the fact you need an endorsement will probably be what steered a lot of people away from them.

yup you guys won't consider k super 8 rare but in my entire country i have the only one kymco super 8
so when people see him they stop take a circle and say what a great looking scooter  8)
everytime i stop to downtown people ask me do you wanna sell it ?
rare kymco is rare : ;)

My intentions were to get some attention. I'm certain there are many of these machines out there (thou not in my hood) Which is where this site comes in. I need help with repairs and upgrades on my bike. It took me 7 months to get a stator for this machine. (had 3 dealers working on it at the time) I now have an issue with it running again. I've also taken in a lot of knowledge on this machine (I can turn a wrench) and want to take care of some of its flaws. (so it keeps running) My super8 has what looks like a California emissions on it. I want to remove it, (but how and what?) I want to put a better carb on / exhaust and so on, "on it". Don't want to find parts that don't fit or won't work. Any help / website advice will be greatly appreciated...

What country are you guys in, I know Vivo is on an island far away, but the guy with the cali emissions, you must be in the US? Im not sure its legal in some areas to remove the emission control devices but tis not hard. remove and cap it all.

I'm in the great state of Wisconsin and they have no standard (or check for them anyways) for emisions on a scoot. I'll start capping and see how it goes. Any aftermarket pipe advice ?? how about a carb, thanks for your reply.....JL

i was about to get a yamaha x city 125 , but no way taxes in my country made it impossible
i'll continue havin the rarest scooter in country :p

carb is a very disscused topic here , there are some people who upgraded their cylinder to 70-90cc
and carb upgrade is a must have..
for aftermarket pipes there are some cheap that doesn't make difference , and there are also some very expensive tuning
and better sound pipes like two brothers but way too expensive as i said

Thanks Nori, I appreciate your interest/reply. I however would be downgrading if I went 70cc ( I have a 150cc) I will take the advice on the pipe however. The 2 bro's and Yoshi pipes are way too much cash for just commuting. All I need is one without a catalytic converter in it. The carb is an afterthought. The point in changing out would be to get something more reliable...you'll have to share with us where you live, sounds rather remote...Greenee

Open the pipe, remove the cat, replace the tip with a bigger diameter pipe...







or....



If you know somebody in Taiwan, you can get this for around $100.00
