LIKE Belt Cover oFF 1st Time!

Short note of encouragement to LIKE folks thinking about going into the belt cover.
It CAN be done.
Removed the 2 airfilter-unit bolts -lifted it to remove all 8 belt cover bolts - removed two body panel screws at front of belt cover - tapped on it with wood block - tried using the 2 pry tabs (no go) - tapped a metal putty knife into the seam at the rear (locate the 2 pins first - don't hit them))- then pried on that from under with small prybar - and Bob's Your Uncle! - off it came....an hour later.
You must wiggle the 20" vent hose out with the cover attached.
No photos - Mrs Stig in Wash D.C. w/the camera & daughter.
I meant to just renew the airfilter after work ---then kept going and went at the belt cover.

Oh yes, it's a bi#ch to get off the first time! Easy as pie after that. Does this mean you're finally going to get around to putting those Dr. Pulley sliders in? Totally worth it!!!
