lithium vs standard batteries

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of changing batteries to a lithium battery and wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with this type.  I know it's lighter and supposed to be stronger (and much smaller) and wondered if it was worth the effort of changing.  Let me know.  Thanks

I plan to fully research these batteries myself.
I like you, would like to know how well these batteries perform.
In power tools, LI batteries perform great. I suspect they will do good on scooters too/also.

Replaced mine with a liothium a couple of weeks ago. I like ti. It works a little differently in that it likes to be warmed up before starting. Turn on key and leave lights on for up to 4 minutes in cold weather. 30 seconds in warm. No battery tender if it's started once a month. Costs more, and lasts longer. MIne came with a 5 - yes that is five - years warranty.

So it is best not to use a battery tender?

They are lighter, last longer, hold a charge much longer (no battery tender needed unless for a long time in storage), do not sulfate (kill themselves with that white inside the battery corrosion etc), have higher cranking amp's etc. Good choice if u can afford it and if u are going to keep the bike.

The instructions say if it's run once a month, that is enough to keep the battery charged without needing a battery tender.

It seems to be a little stronger on startup over the stock one.
