Starts right up then dies after.
« on: April 05, 2014, 01:51:59 PM »
When it get cold over night mid 40s to 50s degrees the bike has problems. It will start right up then die after a minute of idiling. Then it wont start up again. I come back to it in about a hour or so when just a bit warmer and it goes. I have changed every fluid and filter. Did the valves.  What gives? Is it this auto choke crap? Can i do it manually?

Sounds like the enricher (auto choke) is working properly.  Try unplugging the enricher electrical connector on a cold engine.  If idle is maintained, that would indicate that the low-speed fuel passageway is obstructed.  Adding around 2 ounces of Techron to the gas tank before refilling may clear the internal obstruction.
