So my Agility has been giving me grief lately.  After finally getting it working again something still seemed to not be working correctly.  I was trying to diagnose the issue because it seemed air fuel related possible the enricher going bad.  I would have some trouble starting it, but if I found the sweet spot twisting the throttle when trying to start it would start right up.  However, when riding if I had to let it idle for long period it would stall out.  (it was gradual stall with RPMs reducing more and more until done) So I would have to keep a little throttle to stay running.  Well rode for a few weeks then one day I had the scooter parked under a canopy and without me knowing a gust of wind came through and shifted the canopy and knocked over the scooter.  By the time I noticed I wasn't sure how long it was laying over.  Well it started after I got the scooter on its wheels but then died out shortly since that time it hasn't wanted to start.  So I pulled the cylinder apart and it looks like there may have been an issue the gasket to the cylinder and looks like maybe something happened when it fell over and caused back pressure when I started it and blew the gasket. 

Take this issue with the fact that I have been wanting more so I can ride to work an keep up with traffic a little better I have decided to move on up to a 150.  But will still be in the Kymco Family.  Getting a Super 8 150.

THe agility will be rebuilt but since not going to be my main transportation I will be doing the BBK upgrade, cam,  etc.  and see just how much I can get out of the 50cc starting platform.  I don't expect miracles.  but at least I will have something fun to ride on the weekends and just use the 150 for my daily.  possibly do some body mods and other stuff.  just to make it a little flashy.

Here you go. I have this set up, and it has lasted 2 years (so far) of everyday use. Avg 20-30 miles a day, top speed 64-65MPH , and real comfortable cruise 50-55MPH. You can't find a better set up for any price, and this just happens to be dirt cheap.

Are you using the cdi provided with the kit? And what jet are you using.

Yes I have everything from that kit installed on my qmb 139 bike. The Main/Idle jets are the OEM installed in the 24mm carb that came with it. The only thing I suggest you do NOT use is the air filter that comes w/ the kit. I ride rain/shine, and that filter allows water to flood the engine. (I have no fender or/body to block it)
What I did was re-use the original air box, and drilled two 1" holes into the back section of the lid w/ a hole saw, and a 1/4" water drain directly under them in the lowest section of the box itself

I'm not a hyper kid jumping on the cheap China sh** bandwagon. This is a GOOD deal.
If you decide to go for it I will walk you thru the very few easy things you need to do to guarantee it will not fail.
Little casting cleanups, and a few TINY holes to drill for better oil flow ect. I bought two more cylinder only kits expecting these to fail in short order. That was two years ago, and the are both still on the shelf. Same for the exhaust I bought one extra exhaust pipe (minus the muffler) expecting it to rust out or crack at a weld, and it also is on the shelf waiting its turn.

Zombie,

What is the difference (if you know), between that kit (kit 5) and the Kit 6.  Looking at the ebay descriptions the Kit 6 shows intake valve diameter of 23mm and exhaust diameter 20mm, and has bigger jets 95, 100, 105.

Kit 5 doesn't say Valve diameters and has jets 80, 85, 90.

Everything else seems the same other than thos and kit 6 being 15 dollars more.  Living in Northeast Florida would you think the Kit 6 with bigger jets would be the route to go? 

Just trying to make sure I get the one that may need less extras and getting the right kit.

The difference between them is the valve size. The OEM head has 18.5mm/16mm intake/exhaust. The 100cc kit you ask about has larger valves 23/20mm so it needs bigger jets to allow more fuel.

Honestly I prefer the OEM size, and head for three reasons. One is the combustion chamber is larger on the head w/ larger valves to allow for the valve size, and this is ok but you can actually produce MORE power by using the smaller valve head because of the smaller combustion chamber. It creates a higher compression ratio. Premium gas is a MUST but at 30 cents more it should be all u use anyway.
Second is IF the head ever fails you can just swap to the one you took off.
Third is the smaller valves use smaller jets. Smaller jets mean better fuel mileage. you will still get 80-100MPG w/ the smaller head but the lager set will drop to 60-80MPG

If you get one make sure it STATES or the seller CONFIRMS it is made for 64MM valve stems. There are a very few kits made for 69MM bikes which we do not have.

I would also get some DR.Pulley sliders in 6 or 7 gram. The rollers that come w/ the kits SUCK. they are some sort of graphite, and last about a month. My DR P's were given to me 2 years ago and are good as new (thanks J.)  Try the mid jet or 85 main first. Mine came w/ that installed, and it is fine

I used a similar kit, and it makes a noticeable difference.  The exhaust pipe didn't quite fit and had to be rewelded, and I settled on a #92 jet.  The air filter can't be used in the rain as zombie noted; better to fix up the stock unit so the filter stays dry.  The only other mod I went for is a set of 9:1 gears for higher top speed, plus a Chinese tach  ($13!) to keep an eye on the redline (about 9500rpm).  Kymco makes this same engine in a 100cc version (the SG20T engine), so the BB kit should last for many years.

Zombie one final question.  What CDI are you using.  The CDI with the KIT is AC fire and Kymco is DC fire?  Should stock do fine or should I upgrade.?

Honestly I forget what CDI's do what. I do know the ones w/ the kit work, and are un-restricted.
My bike was out in the POURING rain, and the blue (TRS80 or whatever the model is) CDI from the kit shorted. I replaced it w/ the OEM I still have, and the bike ran a few MPH slower, as well as reving slower. I orederd another CDI from PARTSFORSCOOTERS, had it the next day, ( I'm in Fl. so UPS is overnight by default) and all is well again.

I do know all the QMB 139 base engines all have the same stator/cdi. I just forget which it is. It's the 2 plug harness but actually the one plug/5 wire CDI does work. You have to pig tale the ground, (making 2 grounds/Green Wire) and splice the others instead of direct plug in.

Keep it simple, and get the kit w/ the 2 plug CDI.
