So far, Kymco has been very consistent with oil lights that come on at around 600 miles. This is a pre-programmed  odometer function and must be reset by the owner. On the Yager and the Downtown we 300i push the "mode" and "adjust" buttons simultaneously and hold until the thing resets to zero. This is while displaying the "oil odometer". There may be other odometers like on the DT300i such as Trip A, Trip B, "oil change (no tag on the display), and the ODO which cannot be reset by the operator. Which bike do you have?

What does the operators (owners) manual say about this?
