Roadcraft joke.

Bob and Skeeter were a trucking duo with years of over-the-road experiences together.
Bob drove, Skeeter made the sandwiches and provided entertaining commentary as they drove big rigs.
With the decline in the economy, Bob & Skeeter found themselves "between opportunities", as it were.
Bob was sitting an interview for a great new job with a prestigious N. American trucking company.
A panel of 3 experienced long-haul supervisors were firing question after question at the happy-go-lucky Bob for nearly an hour. Nothing was too tough for Bob - and he was sailing along with the highest marks as they graded his responses - until the senior member posed this final, & most important, test of Bob's judgement & experience: "Bob, you and Skeeter are hauling 50,000 pounds of high octane fuel down a narrow mountain highway on a dark rainy night, with the mountain face on one side & a 4,000 foot drop on the other. Suddenly you realize that you've lost all braking and are actually gaining speed down the mountain. As you careen around a blind turn - there before you is a stalled school bus full of children, spun out, and blocking both lanes. Bob, what would you do?"
Bob said, "Well, the first thing I'd do is wake Skeeter up!"

"Bob, why would your first course of action be to wake up Skeeter?"

Bob - "'Cause Skeeter ain't never seen a wreck like we're fixin' to have!"
