Leo Vince makes a 4Road exhaust for the 300 GTI for its European market.  I've written them to find out whether it will be available in the U.S.  I've had excellent experiences with their products. I have one on my Vespa 300 GTS and had one on my Burgman 400. It's lighter and sounds much better than the stock pipe and there will likely be some gain in power.  Does anyone have any info on this exhaust?

Other then gain in power being unlikely, not really.
Most scooters don't react well to aftermarket exhausts without intake mods AND variator mods.

In the end, if you put the stock exhaust back on, I'd be surprised if you notice any difference, as the most
differences are in the CVT. There's no denying the weight saving though.

p.s. Remus makes an exhaust for the Downtown, I'd be surprised if they don't have one for the People.

The debate over whether there is any power increase from an aftermarket pipe has been well hashed out on the Burgman forum site.  Folks there did tests on dynos and found some, though admittedly not great, power increases.  A computer controlled fuel injected four stroke engine will respond more favorably to a pipe change than a carb model - which will likely have be rejetted.  Two strokes are a whole different world. I myself like the sound of a Leo Vince.

That looks nice.. but I might be one of the few here who likes the bazooka original,
and prefers a quiet exhaust.  ;D .. especially on a scooter that likes to keep revs
constant.

I need one of these in the worst way...My SECOND factory exhaust is losing bits all of the highway.  This factory exhaust is garbage.  I don't blame Kwang Yang, I  blame US emissions standards, but still.  I wish Kymco would just give me $300 to put towards a leo vince rather than yet another replacement factory exhaust that I have to wait 2 months for...and will fall apart after 600-1000 miles of riding. 

NO ONE should be on there third exhaust with 3000 miles on their scoot!
