These are 2t's B&L.

The ZX is the original Dio clone engine made by kymco back in the day (AF 18).
He also mentioned his bud had the bike worked on in Miami. I've gotten 82MPH on a Polini Corsa kit/44mm stroker crank, and secondary gear set.

There are hundreds of ZX's that have done well over 90MPH on 72-76cc kits.
It's a bad ass little engine. almost bullet proof.

Trouble is (like you pointed out), add a less than stellar cylinder, a cut corner mechanic, and you have an anchor for your dinghy.

Oh i know the potential. He said his friend hit 72 with his fans setup which sounds like just a kit carb and pipe. 60 max with that setup

Yeah 60 is about what you get w/ any of the basic "kits".
To this day the frame is what scares me on these... The welds are so frigging thin it is just about a suicide challenge even doing 50. I reinforced everything on the bottom of the frame. Never put in the steering tube brace tho.

It's got less than 35 miles on a every nut/bolt rebuild. 5k worth of parts (600.00 ignition system)/spare engine. I'll take 1500.00, and deliver it. I'm in Carrabelle fl.

Something was wrong with your bike before you kitted it, derestrcted s8 should do 35-40...... You need to figure out what the original problem is. The s8 is just as good as the zuma.

Have you tried talking to them face to face about these issues?

I've had no experience w/ them since they had a change of ownership. No idea who is running the place or if any of the old crew/mechanics are still there.

My guess is none of them are around because you wouldn't have these problems if they were.

It's an EASY fix, and shouldn't take an hour to do. Cut your losses/bring the bike home, and we'll help you get it right. You will need a handful of base gaskets, some sealer, new head gasket, and needle bearings for the wrist pin. 20 bucks worth of parts.
OR spend 500.00 to have a lawyer send them an Email.
