NGK Iridium Spark Plugs etc.
« on: September 29, 2009, 08:53:33 PM »
Hi we are going to buy one of these plugs, as mentioned elsewhere its all hands to the pumps for torque ( well sort of torque !!!) and I can`t find on the NGK site any listing for the super 8 50 4t engine.

I assume its the same as the agility which is CR7HIX is that maybe right for all GY6 engines.

I know its not going to add 10 horse power but shes a bit hesitent on starting, 3000 miles so will need one anyway and I know on my honda VT500 twin a few years ago I put split fires in which are similar and it did make a difference to grunt slightly, starting improved and so did fuel use by 10% at least.

So thought an Iridium would be worth a go on the 4t unit.

Any thoughts etc and is that the right one please.

Heres the one ebay US, great buy

Thanks, Best Mark.

I have put them in my honda metropolitan and kymco people 502t . Both scooters loved them , smoother running ,easier starting etc. I ordered mine at advance auto . I just used the stock numbers and the IX designation . I called the ngk rep before instaling in a 2 stroke and he said they were superior in basically any engine . Good luck .
