cracks in side panels

Is it a know problem to get cracks in the side panel. How hard is it to replace.Heard somewhere that thos is a common problem?

I do not think cracking side panels are a common problem.
I've only heard one fellow say his small air vent grill behind the foot has broken.....but may have been from contact with the foot of the rider.
All of the LIKE panels are available from OEM parts dealers.
Panel removal takes patience and some practice........mostly patience!

The left side floor skirt on my Like had the vent screen below the foot peg break from its posts. Also the plastic tab holding the rearward portion of the same floor skirt break. The tab and mounting screw can be seen if you deploy the foot peg. It doesn't take much of an impact to break. I broke mine simple by using the heal of my shoe to close the foot peg.

I was able to fix the tab with Cyanoacrylates (aka Krazy glue). The screen I fixed using a silicon adhesive.
