How long can a DT store without taking out the battery?

I won't be able to ride my DT.  For the next one mth. Will the battery hold it's charge that long?

it should keep a charge for one month,  but it would be good to have a pig tail wire on the battery hanging out the bottom, so you can hook up a floating charger, for any reason, at any time,.

Sounds about right.
I left mine all of June and it started under protest, lol. I did as de dee suggests and had a pigtail run. Had mine run up into the underseat.

More importantly is the fuel. Drain the tank, and run the engine till there is nothing left.
