New speedo cable to short
« on: September 01, 2014, 06:23:04 PM »
Wondering is anyone has any ideas or input, 2007 s 250 (verified via vin). BA50AB model ordered part 44830 as identified across the internet as the correct speedo cable. The new cable is about 6 inches too short. Shop is closed today for me to call but looking around everyone has the same part listed so i expect its going to be the same across the port. Input anyone?

44830-LDH1-E00 comes with the inner cable as well 44831. But the part itself says only KFA6-900. All my searching says all numbers correspond to the right part. Hope its a simple mistake but doesnt appear to be so.

whats interesting is i believe kymco even has kfa6 as part of some of the pieces for the 250 line but you are absolutely correct. I spoke to the dealer yesterday and to my surprise (as i have had problems with them in the past), they identified the problem. Accepted responsibility and are taking care of me. New part should be here today with return shipping label included for old. As always really appreciate all the input, thx.

A few parts are interchangeable with kfa6 but the Speedo is not one!!!! Glad it's sorted!
