She is okay. She cracked her right shoulder and scraped the top of her right ankle ( no boots her decision).
After weeks of riding in the neighborhood and a big parking lot, she decided t venture into the real world with me. Yesterday(1:15PM), we were riding with a local scooter club. A go light was changing from green to red, she thought that I was going through the yellow light. I didn't. She panicked, she hit her brakes hard and locked them. I guess the back of her scooter lifted because she said that she went over the front of her scooter. She had glancing blow on her helmet(where a person's hairline starts) landed on her right shoulder and skidded. By the time I heard screeching of the brakes and sound of the scooter being laid down onto the asphalt, I see my wife skidding past me into the intersection on her back.
First question out of her mouth was: Is my scooter okay?
Paramedics and the police came. She went to the local hospital ER and was discharged about 2:30 PM.
When I pulled my 300i off the main road onto the side road, I kick the side kickstand down and the engine turned off but the lights stayed on. I ran the battery down, So the scooter tow company ended up towing Anne's scooter and my scooter to Moxie's
BTW John said to tell you hi.
