finding parts
« on: January 31, 2015, 02:07:07 AM »
Wow, my beloved scooter, the super 9 is getting harder and harder to find parts for. my original final drive gearset is messed up so i figured id get the performance malossi set. its no longer produced and nobody has it. Louie, from scooter parts international, sent me the one for the air cooled version, though i simply went through his site's directory for the super 9 lc, and he said i could send it back for a refund/correct part exchange. Well now he has my part and money, never ever accepts phone calls, and after the first couple of e-mails, stopped responding to me. He never responded to the bbb about my claim and it is quite the headache as i need the lc gearset. Also, ive heard very good reviews about moped hospital racing. i called, they picked up and said they have very little inventory as they were closing down the business.  :-\  Im wondering why a fast and popular scoot like the super 9 is so hard to find parts for, while the slow super 8's and epa-friendly (slow) four strokes seem to have a much larger market. And, if anyone may possibly know where i can get a performance primary drive gear set for the super 9 ( higher top end/better functionaliy) that would be great.

I answered on the other thread.
Delete one or the other to avoid confusion. ;)
