Ok I am loving this scoot. It took me a bit to get used to moving it's weight around my driveway and garage. And I had to rearrange my garage to fit it. But it's all good. I rode it so much day one that I got fairly sun burned. I am suprised at how fast I can go. Last night and today I had it creap up to about 90 mph on the highway. I finally understand the appeal of a wind screen, but only for highway travel. I look forward to burnig through lots of gas.

Told yah your going to love your GT! I love mine when it's running right. It's amazing how much power Kymco gets out of that thing. I had to get used the size as well. It stands so much taller than my Like did.

Had an interesting back and forth with a guy on a Harley today. I wanted to beat him off the line but just couldn't get it done. My GT gave it hell though! The more I ride it the more I love that bike! It's so quick and nimble with more power than I would ever need.
   I had it on the freeway last night doing 75mph and it was smooth as silk. Had throttle left as well. Now that it doesn't seem to be overheating I may take it up north this weekend. Been wanting to do that for a while now.

I beat a mustang gt at a light to light drag race. I also raced a lexus gs 350 and matched up with him well. I've had it over 90 twice.

I've been tracking myself on Fuelly.  I have only tracked two tanks so far.  My first tank I tracked on Fuelly was with Ethanol Free 91 octane. I rode on the highway mostly and was constantly speeding on and off the highway.  I got 59 mpg.  My second tank I tracked I stayed off the highway and forced myself to follow the speed limit and accelerate reasonably. I got 68 mpg.  I bet I could get 70 or more.  I plan on testing Ethanol Free for several tanks then switch to the cheaper Premium with ethanol.  Then I will test 93 octane with ethanol.  I am curious what will give the best mpg.

Well this next tank will be 93 octane with ethanol.  Also I can't believe I'm still so pleased with my People.  I remember the first time I saw one in a show room.  I thought " Man that's the serious scooter right there"  I've had a fun progression of scooter quality starting with a cheap chinese clone and then going to a Buddy 50 followed by a Like 200i. Each feels better build than the next.  BTW the buddy may be popular but I was not impressed with it's build quality.

That's one of the things I noticed about my GT. The build quality seems very solid. The plastic on it is much thicker than my Like. I have about 650 miles on it so far and it seems to be getting better and better. Im starting to ride it to work and I'm loving it.

    After you get your mileage results, try 87 octane. Our scooters call for higher octane, but the rating system for overseas is different than ours. Our "regular" gas  works fine in my GTI300. If I drive it right, I can get 68 to 70 MPG.

Our octane rating is different. Often worse. Thats why they have evaluated it for american fuel. Mine have all had a sticker saying 91 octane in english for the american market. I dont believe what people say about our reg being their premium. I seem to remember reading a study saying our 87 isnt their 91. Every chinese or taiwanese scoot ive owned ran worse on 87. This is the first that I havent tried 87 in.
