I'm going to try to transport my scooter on the back of my motor home. But I'm concerned about tying it down on the plastic carrier on the back. Is there a better place to fasten the rear tie-downs?

I put a set of Soft-Ties around the two front mounting bolts between the luggage rack and body and tied down from there. For the Handlebars, I used a Bar Harness #2, made for sportbikes. Much better than tying directly to the grips. Links below for illustration of described products.
