Sad picture... & happy
« on: November 18, 2014, 09:58:38 PM »
Two sad pix taken today when I rolled the boys out to let them run a bit. It was 11 F. today, ice/snow everywhere.
Commuted home with me mates on the trolly. Nice heat there.
Took the LIKE out 2 x over this past w/e .....running great. Still pulls my big person hard up a long steep hill to 45+ from a stand still,  before I come to the stop light at the top. (Thought I had an oil leak after getting it back from the shop.....oil on the side of the rear rim and drops under the gear drain bolt....changed the oils and ran it up to 45+ 3 x over 3 days and found no more oil. Dealer must have run the crap out of it in their tests, using 1/2 a tank. Still under warranty for 4 mos - if I see the oil leak come back.)
I much prefer the look of the Forza now with the dark screen - suits the overall look of it. Stock screen is in the closet with the stock LIKE seat (!).

And just a week ago on my long Veteran's Day ride....super outing on this scoot....
I took my time this day - thinking it might have to last me for awhile. Rest of the family was at work or at school - so I goofed the whole morning from sunrise on....

Ace hardware has the copper gasket needed for the drain bolt. They are in those little cardboard drawers for of odd little hardware bits

Great shots of the scoots! 11 degrees?! No Thanks. We're in the 40's here, and even that can be too cold for my bones. Being a Pacific Islander mix, it's no wonder I don't like the cold ...... unless I'm on a snow board ..... lol
