I might be buying a 300i...
« on: February 10, 2015, 07:39:24 PM »
I wanted to buy a Yamaha XMax 250 but they are not sold in America.  I read nothing but good reviews on them.  Then I went to the Kawasaki 300J.  That also is not sold in America.  I worry about service on the 300i.  I don't think there is a dealer in Michigan that even has one in stock.  It'd also a bit of a drive to the dealer but that will not be a deal breaker.  I'll order it in a week or two if the dealer will keep it in the box for me until this darn winter leaves Michigan.  Is white the fastest color?  Wish me luck my friends.  Ride safe.

You'll enjoy the scoot.
IMO silver is the fastest but in a little biased...

Sorry, Amac... black/orange is the fastest !!

Where in Michigan are you?

Google Kymco dealers in MI and more will come up . Here's a start :

I lived from Kalamazoo ( born in Muskegon ) to Lansing, Owosso,White Cloud,Three Rivers and more before landing in Marquette ( my favorite ) . In Maine , now .

I think Maine is much like Marquette with snow in the last three weeks , here (96+ inches in those three weeks ) .

I live in Caro Michigan in the winter and North Branch Michigan about 6 months a year.  North Branch is about 30 miles south of Caro.  Both are in Michigan's thumb.  Thanks for your reply.  Ride safe my friend.

White and black climbs steeper hills faster and gets better mileage.....welcome to the forum and do your own work. I will bet you never have warranty problems with the DT300i.

YW. You ride safe , as well !

By the way...I get ALL kinds of looks from peopleon Harleys that want to check out the VERY SHARP looking Black/Orange .

I've had no problem keeping up with a friend on her 1500 through the Mountains of Western Maine .

The Orange is , also , more visible than other muted colors.   ;)

Whatever the choice... you'll love it !!    ;D
