Et tu, Bet&lute?

I have another advantage... IF I crash, I am already at the point of impact. Hell my bed is higher than the seat on my bikes.

You'll never convince me that 4-5 times the cost + DMV issues + required classes on riding (been riding for 43 years) + insurance +  greater likely hood of hurting someone other than myself + looking like a dork w/ 600.00 bucks worth of AGATT on a SCOOTER is somehow better, safer, more economical, or in ANY way cooler than a bad ass 50cc

It's a lifestyle choice first, and foremost. Like tough guys wearing pink. If you can't pull it off...stay home.

I only say this because in Oregon, you still need a license, insurance, and registration on a 50cc. It only costs $200 for the endorsement, class and all. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE hopping on my 50cc and doing wheelies around the block. But if I'm going across town the zuma gets half the mpg as my 250 and gets there half as fast lol. I love a badass 50cc but MOST people are not like you and I, making a 50cc much less practical. If Oregon was a DUI state and didn't need a license for "mopeds", i would have a different outlook. They make it hardly beneficial at all to be on a 50cc in this state.

I'd gladly add a Ruckus,Zuma or other easily modded 50 cc , if I didn't have other things to spend hard earned $ on . Trouble is , I would keep spending on it to further mod it .

I have the 300cc so I can visit my Dad 100 miles away and make it to The North AtlanticBlues Festival (every year ) and Acadia National Park ( the roads to get there require something that large , unless you want to be squished like a bug ...Cagers  ::)  ) .

That is the one downside of 50cc riding. 30 miles is about I'd do in a day. I ride out to EastPoint a couple times a month to eat or for boat parts but otherwise I don't really leave Carrabelle.

One flaw in the armor.  :'(
